HoSPITAL BAG
This’ll be my 3rd time perfecting the hospital bag contents and I’m closing in on absolute perfection! My 1st time I’d no idea what to expect, so just pinched a generic checklist from google and stuck to that.
This time with 2 prior experiences to bolster my confidence I’ve ditched the facial spritz, fairy lights & champagne (because who wants to be drunk & moist 12 hours post major surgery?), and added a walking stick, nipple cups and milk of magnesia.
The c section has dictated a lot of the changes, as I won’t be needing bikini tops or massage oils etc. I’ve also added a few more nipple accessories as mine historically do not play ball and get blistered incredibly fast so I’m putting lots of thought into how to avoid that.
Most importantly, don’t get your knickers in a twist about the list! More than likely a friend, partner or relative is coming to visit you, so ask them for anything you may have forgotten, and if all else fails the hospital shops have a lot of useful things to purchase.

This’ll be my 3rd time perfecting my hospital bag contense and I’m closing in on perfection. I’ve ditched the facial spritz, fairy lights and birthing ball to make room for, well, more snacks.
The c section has dictated a lot of the cull, as I won’t be needing bikini tops or massage oils, or a long necked drinking bottle. I’ve also added a few more nipple accessories as my breastfeeding record is not so hot and my nipple get blistered incredibly fast so I’m putting lots of thought into how to avoid that.
